The first step is to consider the correct or appropriate font to use – the bigger the better. Avoid fonts such as the Roman Script as the curls and curves of the letters may be confusing. For kids, fun fonts such as the Comic Sans MS are advisable. It can be used as standard fonts for worksheets especially when bugger fonts are needed. Note that the font size itself may differ depending on the age of the students. So when writing worksheets for kids, font sizes between 14 and 18 are suggested.
Worksheet is not just for practice. Teachers can also let their students do a group activity through worksheets. Through this, students will learn how to bond and work with their classmates as one team. Teachers may also make worksheet activities as a contest. The prizes at hand will inspire and motivate students to perform well and learn their lessons.
Remember that kids put more attention on animation. They are more interested on having fun so it is best for a teacher to teach them write letters in a fun way. Teachers may have noticed that when children are just being told on what to do, they may not do it right out of lack of interest.
Your students will find learning easy since they will be able to fill in the word from the available list. Especially when they are still at the formation stages, your students learning will be enhanced a great deal. You can create your own worksheet by following some simple steps. You can be having a template to assist you while creating fonts, shapes of the grid and many more. You can also choose how your letters will be replaced after your students have completely have filled them to ensure that it’s used for learning purposes again.
Teachers use printable writing paper sheets. They let their students trace the numbers, letters, words or dots as this is the perfect way for a child to practice the controlled movements of his fingers and wrist. With continued practice or tracing, he will soon be able to write more legibly and clearly.
Play sound games – A ’Sound Treasure Hunt’ will have your child gathering items around the house all starting with the same letter – and of course there has to be some ’treasure’ at the end of the game, so be prepared! ’I spy with my little eye’ is another great game if you use sounds instead of the names of letters, and it can be played anywhere.
